Agro Quality Assurance Manager (FMCG Agri-Commodities)
About the Role
PepsiCo Pakistan is recruiting an experienced Agro Quality Assurance Manager at its Lahore facility. The manager will lead the agricultural quality agenda across potato and corn supply chains, enforce PepsiCo Global Agricultural Standards, manage cold storage quality, and drive Six Sigma crop improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead agricultural QA operations across potato and corn crop procurement, storage facilities, and transport logistics.
- Monitor potato chip stock and seed quality using YSI biochemical testing and trend analysis to schedule optimal harvesting windows.
- Manage quality audits across internal and third-party cold stores, enforcing Global GAP and Primary Farm Assurance standards.
- Oversee bruise indexing using Impact Recording Devices (IRD) and execute potato storage disease prevention protocols.
- Lead crop quality and yield improvement initiatives using Six Sigma data analytics and Minitab / Power BI dashboards.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Food Science & Technology, or Agricultural Sciences.
- 4 to 5 years of solid quality assurance experience in FMCG agro-processing or food manufacturing.
- Deep expertise in agricultural commodity testing, post-harvest storage physiology, and food safety standards.
- Strong auditing, statistical quality control (SPC), and farmer stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional leadership and cross-functional coordination capability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
- Extensive experience working with contract farmers and cold store management for potato chipping varieties.
