Area Sales Manager
About the Role
Popular Chemical Manufacturing is recruiting an experienced Area Sales Manager for Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, and lower Sindh regions. The manager leads distributor networks, drives FMCG household chemical sales, and supervises territory sales officers.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct sales operations to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume targets across Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas.
- Manage and develop FMCG distributor networks, monitoring stock levels, credit lines, and secondary sales off-take.
- Lead, train, and coach territory sales officers (TSOs) and order bookers in route coverage and customer retention.
- Conduct regular market visits to expand retail numeric and weighted distribution across general trade stores.
- Oversee trade marketing executions, point-of-sale visibility, and promotional scheme implementations.
- Monitor competitor pricing, product launches, and submit market intelligence reports to senior sales management.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 5–7 years of successful sales experience in FMCG, household care, or personal care products.
- Strong distribution management network and route-to-market expertise in Hyderabad and interior Sindh.
- Outstanding commercial negotiation, team leadership, and territory management skills.
- Valid driving license and readiness for extensive travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience handling soap, detergent, or cleaning chemical brands.
- Hands-on experience with mobile order booking software.
