About the Role
Shangrila Foods (Private) Limited is seeking an energetic Area Sales Manager to head its sales and distribution footprint in Karachi. The role drives secondary sales targets, leads distributor partnerships, manages field sales teams, and oversees market penetration across key FMCG food categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive primary and secondary sales targets across designated territories in Karachi and southern Sindh.
- Manage distributor networks, ensuring optimal product availability, stock rotations, and credit compliance.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate the field sales force (Order Bookers and Sales Officers) for peak productivity.
- Execute promotional trade marketing campaigns, shelf space visual merchandising, and SKU penetration drives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and sales channel performance to optimize market share.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Master's in Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing or related business discipline from an accredited institution.
- 8 to 10 years of sales management experience, with at least 4 to 5 years specifically in the FMCG / Food & Beverages industry.
- In-depth mastery of route-to-market strategies, distributor economics, and retail channel management.
- Maximum age of 38 years as of the application date.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and field sales management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Established distributor and modern trade network in Karachi and urban Sindh.
- Familiarity with digital Sales Force Automation (SFA) and ERP tools.
