Assistant Director Corporate Events (MICE)
About the Role
The Nishat Hotel Margala, Islamabad, is seeking an experienced Assistant Director Corporate Events to lead the MICE division, drive high-profile conference sales, and manage luxury hospitality events.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commercial sales strategies for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions (MICE) business
- Proactively cultivate relationships with multinational corporations, diplomatic missions, UN agencies, and government entities
- Manage end-to-end event planning for corporate conferences, diplomatic seminars, gala dinners, and exhibitions
- Coordinate with Banquets, Food & Beverage, Culinary, and Operations teams to guarantee flawless event execution
- Prepare comprehensive event contracts, revenue forecasts, banquet quotations, and customized corporate packages
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or Marketing
- 6 to 8 years of progressive experience in corporate sales, luxury hotel banquet management, or MICE business development
- Demonstrated network of corporate, diplomatic, and public sector clientele in Islamabad and Rawalpindi
- Exceptional client negotiation, commercial proposal writing, and relationship building abilities
- Polished executive presence and capacity to thrive under tight event deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior leadership experience in a 5-star luxury hotel brand or premier convention center in Pakistan
