About the Role
Al Ghazali University (AGU) in Karachi is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Director – Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC). The incumbent will coordinate HEC institutional quality assessments, manage Self-Assessment Reports (SAR), conduct student feedback surveys, and ensure adherence to HEC PSG-2023 guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate university-wide implementation of Higher Education Commission (HEC) quality assurance policies and evaluation criteria.
- Lead program review exercises (PREE), institutional performance evaluations (IPE), and research program assessments (RIPE).
- Guide academic departments in drafting Self-Assessment Reports (SAR), program rubrics, and continuous quality improvement plans.
- Design, administer, and analyze stakeholder satisfaction surveys (graduating students, alumni, faculty, and employers).
- Maintain quantitative institutional quality scorecards and compile Yearly Progress Reports (YPR) in compliance with PSG-2023.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Master's / MS degree (18 years education preferred) from an HEC-recognized university.
- Minimum 3 years of dedicated experience in a Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of an HEC-recognized chartered university.
- In-depth command of HEC quality assessment parameters (PREE, PGRP, RIPE, YPR, and Pakistan Quality Standards PSG-2023).
- Proficiency in statistical survey analysis, educational measurement, and executive report drafting.
- Excellent coordination, organizational, and interpersonal capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience coordinating HEC Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) visits.
- Formal training in Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and institutional accreditation.
