Assistant Manager - Corporate Affairs
About the Role
Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited is hiring an Assistant Manager Corporate Affairs in Lahore. The position handles automotive policy analysis, government affairs liaison, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder coordination with federal and provincial bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with federal and provincial government ministries including Ministry of Industries & Production, EDB, FBR, and SECP.
- Analyze national automotive development policies (AIDEP), tariff changes, SROs, and assess commercial impacts on vehicle production.
- Prepare policy position papers, industry representations, and commercial submissions for PAMA automotive association forums.
- Monitor statutory regulatory changes affecting local assembly, import duties, and environmental emission standards.
- Coordinate high-level meetings between executive company leadership and government dignitaries.
- Maintain comprehensive corporate affairs documentation, licenses, and statutory operational permits.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Economics, Law, or related field.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in corporate affairs, government relations, or regulatory policy.
- Deep understanding of Pakistan's automotive sector regulations, customs tariffs, and industrial policies.
- Exceptional business correspondence, government liaison etiquette, and public presentation skills.
- Strong organizational acumen and analytical problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior corporate affairs experience in an automotive OEM or large multinational manufacturing company.
- Demonstrated network within federal policy and industrial regulatory authorities.
