Assistant Manager Finance (Accounts Receivable)
About the Role
House of Habib is seeking an Assistant Manager – Finance at Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi, to manage factory payments, SAP customer receipts, accounts receivable aging, and credit collections for a group company.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee timely and accurate processing of monthly factory operational payments and head office petty cash disbursements
- Record, allocate, and clear customer payment receipts in SAP ERP against outstanding commercial invoices
- Prepare and circulate daily customer cash collection reports, monthly Accounts Receivable (AR) aging, and provisioning reports
- Establish monthly collection targets and coordinate with sales teams to expedite recoveries and reduce overdue debt
- Monitor, investigate, and reconcile unallocated receipts and advance customer deposits
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Master's / Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, BBA, or ACCA/CA Inter qualification
- 3 to 5 years of relevant financial accounting and accounts receivable management experience in a manufacturing company
- Extensive hands-on experience in SAP ERP (FI/SD modules) for customer ledger clearing and receipt postings
- Advanced command of Microsoft Excel for financial reconciliations and management reporting
- Strong communication, commercial follow-up, and analytical problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior finance experience within automotive, building materials, or consumer goods conglomerates
