About the Role
National Logistics Corporation (NLC), Pakistan's leading multimodal logistics conglomerate, is hiring an Assistant Manager – Full Stack Developer at its Headquarters in Rawalpindi. The developer will architect and enhance enterprise fleet tracking, cross-border cargo management, and ERP digital logistics modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance web applications powering nationwide logistics, freight, and marine operations.
- Develop responsive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Architect robust backend RESTful microservices, API integrations, and database routines using Node.js, Python, or .NET.
- Integrate IoT telemetry data feeds, GPS fleet tracking devices, and automated weighbridge sensors into core dashboards.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure adherence to data protection, secure coding standards, and fast query execution.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Sixteen (16) years of education (BS / BE / MCS) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT from an HEC-recognized university.
- 3 to 5 years of demonstrated full-stack web application development experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong command of frontend and backend technologies, relational databases (PostgreSQL/SQL Server), and version control (Git).
- Maximum age limit of 55 years as of the application closing date.
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a mission-critical logistics operations environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience developing Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or supply chain software.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud deployments.
