About the Role
MG Motors Pakistan is hiring an Assistant Manager Internal Audit in Lahore to lead risk-based operational audits, evaluate financial controls, and ensure compliance across automotive operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk-based internal audits across manufacturing, inventory, procurement, and dealership operations
- Assess operational compliance with internal policies, statutory regulations, and corporate governance frameworks
- Identify control deficiencies and process inefficiencies, delivering actionable recommendations to senior management
- Utilize SAP ERP modules to extract data, conduct analytical testing, and execute computerized audit procedures
- Follow up with operational department heads to track timely execution of audit committee recommendations
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or ACCA/CA/CMA finalist
- 3 to 5 years of relevant internal audit experience, preferably within the automobile or engineering sector
- Hands-on proficiency in SAP ERP systems and computer-assisted audit techniques (CAATs)
- Strong knowledge of risk management methodologies, internal control frameworks, and corporate governance
- Excellent report writing, critical thinking, and executive presentation capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- CIA / CISA certification or professional experience in a Big 4 auditing firm
