Assistant Manager - Personnel & Admin (P&A)
About the Role
Amreli Steels Limited is hiring an Assistant Manager - Personnel & Admin (P&A) for its rolling mill manufacturing plant in Dhabeji, Sindh. The position oversees plant personnel administration, staff transport, worker accommodations, plant security, and industrial relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily personnel and administration operations at the Dhabeji manufacturing plant, ensuring smooth employee facilitation.
- Oversee employee bus fleets, plant pool vehicles, fleet maintenance, and route planning for hundreds of factory personnel.
- Supervise plant residential colonies, bachelor executive hostels, VIP guest houses, and catering cafeteria standards.
- Coordinate plant physical security, CCTV surveillance, gate entry-exit controls, and industrial emergency response plans.
- Handle local community relations, liaison with law enforcement agencies, and local government municipal administrations.
- Ensure compliance with Factories Act rules, labor health welfare provisions, and corporate administrative policies.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or related field.
- 5–8 years of personnel and administrative experience in a large industrial manufacturing facility or steel mill.
- Strong leadership, crisis management, and contractor management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with local law enforcement, community elders, and government authorities in Sindh.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/Admin management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ex-armed forces officer background or corporate security leadership credential.
- Experience managing heavy industrial plants in Thatta or Nooriabad industrial zones.
