About the Role
Punjab Mineral Company (Pvt.) Limited (PMC) is hiring an Assistant Manager Procurement & Contracts in Lahore to direct mineral project tenders, contractor agreements, and PPRA-compliant goods/services procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of technical consultancy, drilling contracts, mineral testing services, and capital equipment
- Ensure rigorous compliance with Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules and company procurement manuals
- Prepare Request for Proposals (RFPs), bidding documents, technical evaluation criteria, and contract agreements
- Coordinate contract execution, milestone verifications, dispute resolutions, and contractor payment certifications
- Maintain comprehensive procurement records, audit files, and tender transparency registers
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher (16 years of education) in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, Economics, or Law
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of post-qualification experience in procurement, contract administration, or public sector tendering
- Deep understanding of Punjab PPRA rules 2014, public tendering mechanisms, and contract law
- Age Limit: 28 to 40 years
- High integrity, precision in documentation, and outstanding analytical negotiation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CIPS certification or previous procurement experience in mineral, energy, or public infrastructure sectors
