Assistant Manager Procurement (Indirect Material)
About the Role
KFC Pakistan is looking for an Assistant Manager Procurement (Indirect Material) in Karachi to oversee restaurant civil works sourcing, renovation contracts, vendor price negotiations, and Capex purchasing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of indirect materials, restaurant fit-out equipment, civil refurbishment, and CAPEX items
- Prequalify architectural contractors, civil vendors, and kitchen equipment suppliers nationwide
- Conduct competitive tender biddings, commercial price negotiations, and contract formulation
- Coordinate with engineering and project managers to ensure on-time delivery of materials for new restaurant openings
- Maintain detailed procurement trackers, purchase orders in ERP, and vendor performance scorecards
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Civil Engineering, or Business Administration
- Minimum 4 years of procurement experience handling civil works, project equipment, or indirect material sourcing
- Strong commercial negotiation skills and experience working in multinational corporations or reputable large companies
- High proficiency in supply chain ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of procurement contract terms, SLAs, and supplier compliance
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior procurement experience in the retail, QSR, hospitality, or commercial construction sector
