About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct rigorous undergraduate and graduate classroom instruction, laboratory tutorials, and curriculum developments in computing.
- Establish and lead specialized research laboratories focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, or Distributed Cloud Systems.
- Secure competitive national and international research grants, authoring scholarly papers in top-tier indexed journals.
- Supervise MS theses and final year undergraduate industrial capstone development projects.
- Engage in academic advising, student mentorship, and university accreditation committees.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security, or closely related discipline from an HEC-recognized or foreign university.
- No third division in the academic career.
- Demonstrated high-level programming proficiency, modern theoretical knowledge, and passion for pedagogical excellence.
- Publications in reputable peer-reviewed conferences and HEC-recognized W/X category journals.
- Candidates eligible under HEC Interim Placement of Fresh PhDs (IPFP) are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-doctoral research experience or industrial R&D background with global tech enterprises.
- Strong research background in generative AI, large language models, quantum computing, or zero-trust cybersecurity.
