About the Role
Iqra University Business School (IUBS) is seeking an accomplished academician for the faculty position of Assistant Professor – Human Resource Management (HRM) at its Sector H-9 Campus in Islamabad. The role focuses on delivering high-impact undergraduate and graduate lectures, supervising research, and publishing scholarly articles.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver interactive lectures and seminars in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, and Strategic HR.
- Supervise BBA, MBA, and MS/MPhil student research theses, dissertations, and applied corporate projects.
- Publish scholarly articles in HEC-recognized peer-reviewed indexed journals and participate in academic conferences.
- Participate actively in curriculum review committees to ensure academic courses reflect modern corporate workplace dynamics.
- Provide academic advising, student mentoring, and participate in university departmental governance committees.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- PhD in Human Resource Management, Management Sciences, or related field from an HEC-recognized or reputable international university.
- Minimum 3 years of post-PhD teaching or research experience at a recognized university level.
- Demonstrated record of research publications in HEC-approved journals (W/X/Y category).
- Outstanding pedagogical, communication, and classroom management abilities.
- Commitment to academic integrity, institutional service, and student mentoring.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience developing OBE (Outcome-Based Education) course packs and accreditation portfolios.
- Practical consulting or corporate advisory experience in human resource strategy.
