Branch Manager (Retail Banking)
About the Role
JS Bank Limited is looking for an experienced Branch Manager to lead its high-growth retail banking operations in Lahore. The Branch Manager holds P&L ownership of the branch, drives CASA deposit mobilization, leads consumer lending cross-sales, and ensures stringent regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all branch operations and commercial sales activities to achieve assigned CA, SA, Bancassurance, and profitability targets.
- Enforce strict adherence to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations, AML/KYC guidelines, and bank operational policies.
- Mentor, manage, and motivate branch sales, service, and operations staff to maintain high service standards.
- Expand the bank's local market penetration by developing corporate, high-net-worth (HNW), and commercial customer relationships.
- Conduct regular internal control reviews, maintain flawless audit scores, and eliminate operational risk vulnerabilities.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, or related field (Master's / MBA preferred).
- 7 to 8 years of solid retail branch banking experience, with demonstrated branch leadership success.
- In-depth command of branch operations, clearing systems, consumer asset products, and trade banking.
- Exemplary leadership, team building, conflict management, and high-impact negotiation capabilities.
- Proven sales track record of deposit growth and client relationship expansion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Established commercial deposit relationships and business networks in Lahore.
- Certifications in SBP Banking Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering, or JAIBP/AIBP.
