About the Role
Engro Fertilizers is hiring a Business Analyst - Business Development in Karachi/Lahore to conduct market research, evaluate agricultural commercial investments, and develop strategic growth models.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform market intelligence, competitive analysis, and industry benchmarking across agriculture and food sectors
- Build comprehensive financial evaluation models and feasibility studies for new business ventures and capital investments
- Support strategic business planning, forecasting, and demand analysis for agricultural inputs and specialty fertilizers
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Commercial, Operations, and Finance teams to evaluate commercial initiatives
- Prepare executive presentations, business cases, and investment dossiers for senior leadership and the Board
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- BBA or MBA in Finance, Marketing, Strategy, or related discipline from a reputable business school
- 5 to 7 years of relevant commercial, business analysis, or strategic planning experience
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and market research methodologies
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration, presentation, and data synthesis capabilities
- Experience in the agricultural, food, or FMCG sector strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior corporate strategy or investment banking background with direct exposure to Pakistan's agrarian economy
