Civil Construction Supervisor
About the Role
Saylani Welfare International Trust is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Supervisor to oversee civil construction activities for philanthropic institutes, hospitals, and welfare complexes across Karachi.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily on-site civil and structural construction work across Saylani welfare project sites.
- Ensure strict compliance with architectural drawings, engineering specifications, and building codes.
- Coordinate labor deployment, machinery utilization, and on-site material inventories.
- Conduct quality checks on concrete batching, rebar fabrication, brick masonry, and finishing works.
- Prepare site daily progress reports, material indent requisitions, and update central engineering leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 6 to 8 years of solid hands-on experience in civil construction supervision of multi-story buildings.
- Proficiency in interpreting civil blueprints, AutoCAD drawings, and construction project schedules (Primavera P6).
- Demonstrated team leadership, labor handling, and on-site problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity, dedication, and alignment with humanitarian welfare values.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising construction of hospitals, universities, or large community welfare facilities.
- Valid motorcycle or personal transport for visiting multiple sites across Karachi.
