Civil Site Engineer
About the Role
Fatima Group is hiring an experienced Civil Engineer for its Fatima Steel Mill plant site in Sanawan, Muzaffargarh to monitor melting shop, furnace foundations, heavy RCC works, and contractor execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise contractor civil works against approved structural drawings, BOQs, method statements, and project timelines.
- Inspect heavy industrial civil works including excavation, deep foundations, casting, formwork, anchor bolts, and RCC structures.
- Verify dimensional accuracy, levels, reinforcement layouts, and concrete testing for furnace and continuous casting machine (CCM) buildings.
- Ensure compliance with plant HSE guidelines, quality standards, and technical specifications.
- Maintain daily progress reports, assist in joint site measurements, and prepare as-built project documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university with PEC registration.
- 7 to 10 years of site engineering experience in heavy industrial construction or steel mill projects.
- Deep technical expertise in RCC structural construction, heavy machine foundations, and contractor supervision.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering survey instruments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience working on steel rolling mills or continuous casting infrastructure.
