Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Projects
About the Role
Elite Engineering Pvt Ltd is hiring a Civil Engineer for its large-scale WASA water and sewerage infrastructure development project in Jhang. The role supervises site construction, contractor execution, quality standards, and progress reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily civil construction activities including sewerage pipelines, drainage channels, and disposal work infrastructure.
- Ensure construction adheres strictly to project blueprints, engineering specifications, and client QA/QC protocols.
- Coordinate with site surveyors, subcontractors, and earthmoving machinery operators for efficient execution.
- Monitor site material consumption, concrete batching quality, and soil compaction testing results.
- Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), bill of quantities (BOQ) verifications, and milestone tracking documentation.
- Enforce rigorous workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines across the project site.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- B.Sc. / B.E. in Civil Engineering from a PEC-accredited university.
- 2–4 years of field experience in urban infrastructure, road construction, sewerage networks, or municipal civil engineering.
- Proficiency in reading engineering blueprints, AutoCAD drawings, and construction schedules.
- Strong on-site problem-solving ability and contractor management skills.
- Valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience working on government WASA or PHED municipal infrastructure projects in Punjab.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 or MS Project scheduling.
