Contracts Specialist
About the Role
Olive Technical Services Pvt Ltd is hiring a Contracts Specialist (Job Code: CS-C&P-002) at its Lahore office. The specialist administers engineering and technical service contracts, contract variations, subcontractor agreements, and claims in Oil & Gas and EPC sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer industrial, oil & gas, and engineering service contracts from tender award through project closeout.
- Review and interpret contract terms, technical scopes of work, commercial schedules, and liability provisions.
- Draft, negotiate, and execute subcontractor agreements, consultancy pacts, and joint venture contracts.
- Manage contractual change orders, scope variations, time extension requests, and commercial claims.
- Coordinate with project managers and legal counsel to mitigate contractual and financial risks.
- Maintain centralized contract registers, tracking milestones, performance guarantees, and retention releases.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Electrical), Law (LLB), or Business Administration.
- 7–10 years of contracts administration experience in Oil & Gas, EPC/EPCC, or industrial engineering construction projects.
- Comprehensive mastery of FIDIC contract conditions, EPC terms, and contract law principles.
- Exceptional commercial acumen, claim preparation capability, and negotiation skills.
- Superior written communication and legal drafting competence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-graduate qualification in Construction Law or Certified Contract Manager (CCM).
- Prior experience handling contracts for downstream refinery or petrochemical projects.
