Cyber Security Specialist
About the Role
Hyundai Nishat Motors Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Specialist in Lahore to strengthen organizational cybersecurity strategy, lead SOC operations, and enforce security-by-design architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish, implement, and maintain enterprise cybersecurity policies, security baselines, and governance frameworks
- Govern Security Operations Center (SOC) operations and Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) engagements
- Ensure 24/7 security event monitoring, threat detection, incident triage, and forensic incident response
- Embed security-by-design across cloud, on-premises infrastructure, and applications with DevOps teams
- Manage vulnerability assessments, penetration testing (VAPT), regulatory compliance audits, and security awareness programs
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or Information Technology
- 5 to 7 years of specialized professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC management, or information security
- Demonstrated proficiency in SIEM solutions, endpoint detection & response (EDR), firewalls, and cloud security
- Strong understanding of ISO 27001 standards, NIST frameworks, risk assessment, and VAPT remediation
- Exceptional analytical problem-solving and technical communication capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer
