Deputy Manager Accounts
About the Role
Pakistan Cables Limited is hiring a Deputy Manager Accounts at its Head Office in Karachi. The role leads accounts receivable, corporate taxation, financial reporting, and credit controls using Oracle ERP in a premier manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) operations, credit management, customer ledger reconciliations, and aging reviews.
- Manage corporate tax compliance, withholding tax returns, sales tax e-filings, and provincial tax matters.
- Prepare periodic financial statements, management accounts, and notes in accordance with IFRS.
- Operate Oracle ERP Financials, maintaining transaction integrity and driving reporting enhancements.
- Collaborate with internal and statutory external auditors to facilitate annual reviews and compliance audits.
- Supervise accounts team members, enforcing standard operating procedures and internal financial controls.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- ACCA Member / MBA Finance / CA Inter / ACMA from a reputable institution.
- 6–8 years of relevant accounting experience in manufacturing, engineering, electrical, or textile industries.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Pakistani corporate tax laws, FBR regulations, and sales tax rules.
- Hands-on expertise working with Oracle ERP Financials and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Proven leadership, team supervision, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Full CA (ICAP) or ACMA credential.
- Experience handling large corporate distribution credit management.
