Deputy Manager Accounts
About the Role
Sharif Group is hiring an experienced Deputy Manager Accounts with deep expertise in the steel/heavy manufacturing sector. Based in Lahore, the role manages cost accounting, periodic financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis using Oracle Financials.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare annual departmental budgets, operating forecasts, and business projections in coordination with leadership.
- Execute period-end financial closing, variance analysis, and historical performance reviews.
- Manage cost accounting workflows, ensuring precise valuation of Cost of Goods Manufactured (COGM) and COGS in Oracle Financials.
- Develop analytical management dashboards and financial models to support strategic investment decisions.
- Coordinate with internal and external audit partners to ensure timely and smooth audit completions.
- Ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and local corporate tax statutes.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- ACMA, CA Inter, or Master's in Finance from a reputable university.
- 5–7 years of relevant corporate accounting and financial reporting experience, specifically within the steel or heavy manufacturing industry.
- Extensive practical knowledge of cost accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing ledger flows.
- Hands-on expertise working with Oracle Financials / Oracle ERP modules.
- Strong business acumen, financial modeling capabilities, and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Full ACMA or ACCA qualification.
- Proven experience implementing automated reporting workflows in enterprise ERP.
