Deputy Manager - Internal Audit
About the Role
Mughal Steel is seeking a seasoned Deputy Manager Internal Audit in Lahore to drive risk-based internal audits, evaluate operational controls, and ensure compliance with ERP/Dynamics 365 standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and execute risk-based operational and financial internal audits across manufacturing plants and corporate offices.
- Evaluate internal control environments, identify risk vulnerabilities, and provide actionable remediation recommendations.
- Conduct specialized ERP audits within Microsoft Dynamics 365, verifying ledger integrity and supply chain transactions.
- Draft comprehensive audit reports and present high-impact audit findings directly to senior management and the Audit Committee.
- Perform compliance reviews and ensure adherence to applicable statutory, legal, and company governance policies.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- CA (Inter), ACCA, CMA, CIA, or MBA Finance from a recognized institution.
- 8–10 years of internal audit experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial enterprises.
- Demonstrated experience auditing within Microsoft Dynamics 365 or major Tier-1 ERP environments.
- Strong analytical judgment, professional skepticism, and independent reporting capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior audit experience in steel manufacturing, smelting, or large-scale metallurgical operations.
