Deputy General Manager / AGM – Sales (Gensets & Power Solutions)
About the Role
Greaves Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd, a flagship entity of Ghulam Faruque Group, is seeking a high-performing DGM / AGM Sales (Genset) for its Head Office in Karachi. The executive will steer corporate revenue targets, lead power generation equipment sales, oversee public/private tenders, and manage top-tier client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share and revenue for diesel and gas generator sets nationwide.
- Lead high-value project sales, technical bidding, commercial negotiations, and contract closures across commercial, industrial, and telecom sectors.
- Cultivate high-level relationships with EPC contractors, MEP consultants, industrial plant owners, and public sector procurement bodies.
- Direct and mentor the nationwide genset sales team to consistently achieve individual and organizational sales milestones.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and after-sales service divisions to ensure flawless equipment delivery and commissioning.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university; Master's in Business Administration (MBA) is an added advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of proven sales leadership experience, specifically in gensets, industrial power systems, or heavy capital equipment.
- Demonstrated track record in mega project sales, public tender management (PPRA), and corporate account conversions.
- Exceptional commercial acumen, high-stakes negotiation skills, and executive communication.
- Comprehensive understanding of diesel/gas power generation technology and the Pakistani industrial energy market.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong established relationships with top engineering consultants and industrial business groups across Pakistan.
- Experience selling globally reputable diesel generator engines (e.g. Perkins, Cummins, Caterpillar, FG Wilson).
