About the Role
Port Qasim Authority (PQA), Ministry of Maritime Affairs, is inviting applications for Director Administration (BPS-20) on a 2-year contract (extendable) to direct institutional administration, policy execution, and personnel management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee personnel administration, estate governance, and general corporate administration across Port Qasim Authority.
- Formulate, execute, and monitor administrative policies in accordance with federal government rules and statutory regulations.
- Manage workforce planning, disciplinary procedures, performance evaluation, and organizational structuring.
- Coordinate high-level inter-ministerial correspondence, parliamentary inquiries, and port governance matters.
- Ensure efficient utilization of port administrative resources, security protocols, and operational facilities.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Second Class Master's Degree in Administrative / Social Sciences / MPA / MBA from an HEC-recognized university.
- Minimum 17 years of professional experience in personnel administration in a Government, Semi-Government, or large commercial organization.
- Thorough command of federal civil service rules, statutory compliance, and administrative law.
- Maximum age limit: 50 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior executive leadership in maritime, logistics, or statutory port authorities.
