ECCE Facilitator (Early Childhood Education)
About the Role
Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA) is hiring an ECCE Facilitator in Karachi (Malir & Keamari) to support early childhood care and education, facilitate play-based learning in community schools, and train primary teachers.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate early childhood care and education (ECCE) pedagogical activities across community schools in Malir and Keamari
- Support primary school teachers in designing and delivering play-based, child-centered foundational learning modules
- Engage with parents, community elders, and school management committees to promote early years schooling enrollment
- Conduct regular classroom observations, assess child developmental milestones, and provide constructive feedback to educators
- Maintain detailed activity logs, field visit reports, and attendance documentation using Google Workspace
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education (ECE), Psychology, or Social Sciences
- 2 to 3 years of experience in early childhood education, community teaching, or teacher training (fresh graduates with strong facilitation may apply)
- Strong understanding of child psychology, foundational literacy, and modern play-based pedagogies
- Outstanding community engagement, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel regularly across schools and communities in Malir and Keamari, Karachi
Preferred Qualifications
- Montessori or ECE certification and familiarity with education non-profit development programs
