About the Role
Lucky Investments Limited, part of the Yunus Brothers Group (YBG), is seeking a market-savvy Equity Dealer for its Shariah-compliant equity funds desk in Karachi. The dealer will execute stock market orders with precision, liaise with brokerage houses, analyze market flows, and support fund managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute equity purchase and sale orders on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) for Shariah-compliant mutual funds and equity schemes.
- Liaise with approved institutional brokerage houses to secure optimal execution prices and minimal market impact.
- Track daily market liquidity, order book depths, foreign portfolio flows, and sector trading volumes.
- Ensure all equity transactions comply strictly with SECP mutual fund regulations and Shariah screening criteria.
- Reconcile daily trade blotters, broker settlement notes, and generate end-of-day portfolio exposure reports.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related discipline from an HEC-recognized university.
- 1 to 3 years of solid experience in equity dealing, equity brokerage, or treasury operations within an Asset Management Company (AMC).
- Hands-on expertise operating PSX trading terminals (KiTS) and financial market analytical software.
- Solid knowledge of technical charting indicators, market microstructure, and trading risk controls.
- High speed, emotional stability during market volatility, and unwavering personal integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
- PSX Certified Trader Certification / Capital Market Certified credentials.
- Working knowledge of Islamic equity screening parameters and KMI-30 index constituents.
