Executive – Business Development (B2B Pharmaceutical)
About the Role
Surge Laboratories (Pvt) Ltd is hiring an Executive – Business Development at its Corporate Head Office in Karachi. The executive will drive B2B institutional pharmaceutical sales, handle toll manufacturing inquiries, process export commercial documentation (Form-9, LCs), and manage institutional client orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle B2B pharmaceutical customer inquiries, tender inquiries, pricing approvals, and sales order execution.
- Coordinate with Plant Production, QA/QC, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure timely order manufacturing and dispatch.
- Manage export trade documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, export LCs, Form-9 approvals, and DRAP NOCs.
- Prepare sales progress dashboards, pending order status sheets, client reconciliations, and sales commission calculations.
- Conduct pharmaceutical market research, competitor product analysis, and identify new B2B institutional client avenues.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration (BBA / MBA) or Pharmacy (Pharm.D).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant B2B business development or commercial sales experience in a reputable pharmaceutical company.
- Sound understanding of pharmaceutical trade terminology, toll manufacturing contracts, and DRAP export regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data sorting, analysis, reporting) and enterprise ERP platforms.
- Strong commercial negotiation, client communication, and order expediting capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience processing Form-9 documentation with the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP).
- Existing business network among institutional hospital buyers and third-party pharmaceutical brand owners.
