About the Role
IBA Karachi is seeking an energetic and career-focused Executive for its Career Development Centre (CDC). The role focuses on managing corporate relations, campus recruitment drives, graduate placement opportunities, and delivering professional readiness workshops for undergraduate and graduate students.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate corporate outreach programs, on-campus recruitment drives, and employer information sessions.
- Manage student career advising, resume reviews, and mock interview sessions to enhance employability.
- Maintain active corporate databases, tracking employer feedback, placement rates, and internship records.
- Coordinate annual job fairs, networking seminars, and industry guest speaker sessions across campuses.
- Collaborate with academic departments to align student skillsets with evolving corporate workforce requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Sixteen (16) years of education (BBA/BS/Master's) in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized university.
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of proven experience in career counseling, corporate relations, or human resource recruitment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management capabilities.
- Proficiency in modern office suites, database administration, and digital recruitment management platforms.
- Strong organizational, project coordination, and event management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in career services at a leading national or international higher education institution.
- Established network among multinational corporations and leading local business groups in Pakistan.
