About the Role
The Nishat Hotel Islamabad is looking for a culinary visionary to take on the role of Executive Chef. Stationed near the Convention Centre on Srinagar Highway, the Executive Chef will lead all fine dining and banquet kitchen operations, craft signature international menus, and maintain impeccable culinary standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, exceptional culinary presentation, and rapid service speed.
- Design innovative menus for fine dining outlets, executive lounges, and large-scale banquet events.
- Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen brigade staff to maintain highest culinary skill and sanitation discipline.
- Control kitchen food costs, inventory levels, and minimize wastage while sourcing premium local and imported ingredients.
- Enforce rigorous food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and sanitation compliance across all kitchen stations.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Professional Diploma / Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or equivalent international certification.
- 8 to 10 years of professional culinary experience in reputable luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants.
- Proven leadership experience as Executive Sous Chef or Executive Chef in high-volume hospitality properties.
- Mastery of Pakistani, Continental, Mediterranean, and Asian culinary techniques.
- Strong inventory control, food costing, budgeting, and kitchen team leadership capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- International culinary experience working with prestigious global hotel chains.
- Certification in Food Safety Management Systems (HACCP / ISO 22000).
