Executive LPG Operations
About the Role
Attock Petroleum Limited (APL) is hiring an Executive - LPG Operations in Karachi to supervise LPG storage and bottling plant operations, lead commercial distributor networks, and enforce OGRA and HSE safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations at LPG storage and bottling facilities including product receipt, tank transfers, cylinder filling, and dispatch
- Oversee plant equipment performance, planned preventive maintenance shutdowns, and coordinate engineering repairs
- Develop commercial and industrial LPG customer accounts, conduct industrial market surveys, and expand distribution reach
- Lead LPG tender participations, prepare commercial bids, and ensure compliance with regulatory sales quotas
- Ensure strict compliance with OGRA regulations, HSE safety standards, Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, and environmental codes
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, or DAE / B.Tech (Chemical) with 7 to 10 years of experience
- Proven operational experience in LPG storage terminals, gas processing, or pressurized bottling plants
- Deep understanding of LPG plant instrumentation, safety valves, decanting compressors, and cylinder filling carousels
- Strong leadership, crisis response capability, and vendor coordination acumen
- Familiarity with OGRA regulatory framework, statutory licensing, and hazardous chemical handling
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in Process Safety Management (PSM), NEBOSH, or fire safety in hydrocarbon installations
