About the Role
Fly Jinnah, Pakistan's leading low-cost commercial carrier, is hiring a skilled First Officer (Co-Pilot) for its expanding Airbus A320 fleet based at Karachi. The role requires operational flight deck expertise, adherence to PCAA safety mandates, and passion for delivering punctuality and flight safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial passenger flights as Second-in-Command on Airbus A320 aircraft in strict compliance with airline SOPs and PCAA CARs.
- Execute thorough pre-flight flight deck preparations, fuel calculations, weather briefing evaluations, and aircraft walk-around inspections.
- Monitor flight parameters, navigation systems, engine performance, and aircraft systems throughout all flight phases.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the Pilot-in-Command, air traffic controllers, cabin crew, and ground dispatchers.
- Maintain active currency in emergency response procedures, Crew Resource Management (CRM), and simulator recurrent drills.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Valid ICAO/PCAA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Frozen ATPL and Instrument Rating.
- Minimum 1,500 total logged flying hours on multi-engine aircraft, with Airbus A320 type rating preferred.
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate issued by a recognized Civil Aviation Authority.
- Fluency in English (ICAO Level 4 or higher English language proficiency).
- Successful completion of airline psychometric and technical flying assessment tests.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Airbus A320 type rating with recent line-flying experience.
- Prior flight operations experience with low-cost scheduled commercial carriers.
