About the Role
The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) is seeking an elite aviation expert for the high-level role of Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane - EG-08). Offering a premier salary package of Rs 1.37 Million per month, this position enforces national flight safety standards, regulatory audits, and airline flight crew compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regulatory inspections, safety oversight audits, and route checks for commercial air carriers operating in Pakistan.
- Evaluate and approve airline operations manuals, training syllabi, standard operating procedures, and flight crew rosters.
- Carry out surveillance of commercial airline operations in strict accordance with ICAO Annex 6 and PCAA CARs.
- Participate in incident investigations, flight data monitoring reviews, and flight safety committee boards.
- Ensure airline compliance with aircraft airworthiness, crew flight time limitations, and international aviation safety mandates.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Pakistani national holding or having held a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with type rating on commercial transport aircraft with MGTOW > 40,000 kg.
- Minimum 5,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on commercial air transport aircraft exceeding 40,000 kg MGTOW.
- At least 10 years of commercial aviation pilot experience.
- SFI / TRI / SFE / TRE endorsement on an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Maximum age limit of 66 years (including all applicable relaxations) with unblemished safety flight record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active designation as Simulator Flight Examiner (SFE) or Type Rating Examiner (TRE).
- Extensive background in airline safety management systems (SMS), quality audits, or international civil aviation regulatory compliance.
