About the Role
Join the National Cyber Emergency Response Team (CERT) under the Ministry of IT & Telecom. Responsible for threat intelligence analysis, critical infrastructure incident response, and national cybersecurity policy enforcement.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze potential cyber threats against public infrastructure and government portals.
- Develop vulnerability management alerts and coordinate with provincial agency IT leads.
- Draft standard operating procedures for data protection and information security audits.
- Assist in incident forensics, penetration testing, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- BS / BE in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Security (16 years education).
- Minimum 2nd Division from an HEC-recognized university.
- Age limit: 22 — 30 years (with standard 5-year federal general age relaxation).
- Pakistani citizenship: Open Merit & Provincial quotas apply.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications like CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP are advantageous.
