Human Resources Officer (HR Operations & Payroll)
About the Role
Hamdam Paper Products (Pvt) Ltd is hiring a motivated Human Resources Officer to manage HR operations at its facility in Karachi. The role oversees recruitment coordination, biometric attendance records, payroll inputs, employee lifecycle documentation, and labor compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment pipelines including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and new hire onboarding.
- Maintain complete employee personnel files, service books, and update digital employee records in HRMS.
- Track daily biometric attendance, shift rotations, leave balances, and compile verified overtime inputs for monthly payroll.
- Draft official HR letters including offer letters, appointment orders, confirmation letters, and separation clearances.
- Handle employee day-to-day inquiries, assist in disciplinary notices, and ensure adherence to company HR policies.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in human resources operations, preferably within a manufacturing or packaging plant.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and operational experience with HRMS or ERP systems.
- Good understanding of basic statutory labor laws (SESSI, EOBI, minimum wages).
- Strong coordination, confidentiality, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERPXtreme or similar web-based HR software platforms.
- Residence in proximity to industrial zones in Karachi.
