About the Role
Mahr Textiles (Pvt.) Ltd. is offering an Information Technology (IT) Internship for fresh computer science and software graduates at its plant on Daska Road, Sialkot. The internee will receive practical hands-on training in network administration, hardware troubleshooting, operating system support, and ERP maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide frontline IT helpdesk support, troubleshooting hardware, operating systems, and office peripherals for plant staff.
- Assist network administrators in configuring LAN cabling, network switches, Wi-Fi access points, and IP printers.
- Install and configure Windows operating systems, security patches, antivirus software, and MS Office suites.
- Support daily database and file server backup routines and maintain structured IT asset inventory registers.
- Learn and assist in basic industrial ERP user administration, access provisioning, and system logging.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Fresh graduate or final-year student eager to gain practical industrial IT infrastructure experience.
- Foundational understanding of TCP/IP networking, PC hardware assembly, and Windows OS environments.
- Good problem-solving mindset, technical curiosity, and verbal communication skills.
- Readiness to work on-site at Daska Road, Sialkot.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications or coursework in CCNA, CompTIA A+, or Microsoft Certified Professional.
- Prior academic project work in network setup or web technologies.
