IT Support Officer
About the Role
Fauji Foods Limited is seeking an IT Support Officer (Contractual) at its Lahore Head Office. The role provides onsite and remote hardware/software support, resolves user tickets, configures enterprise networks, and maintains office IT assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and remote technical support for enterprise workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and business applications.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Outlook mail clients, network printers, and scanners.
- Deliver first-level troubleshooting for local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi access points, and VPN connectivity.
- Maintain IT asset inventory logs, tracking hardware serials, software licensing, and equipment reassignments.
- Execute desktop security updates, patch deployments, and antivirus endpoint compliance checks.
- Assist during corporate board meetings and hybrid video conferences with AV equipment setup.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Software Engineering from an accredited university.
- 1–2 years of hands-on desktop support and IT helpdesk experience in a structured corporate environment.
- Solid knowledge of Windows desktop administration, Active Directory user management, and Office 365.
- Basic networking troubleshooting skills (DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, structured cabling).
- Customer-centric attitude with strong verbal and written communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Modern Desktop certification.
- Experience supporting FMCG sales force automation devices.
