Junior Manager – Exports & International Business
About the Role
Attock Cement Pakistan Limited is recruiting a commercially astute Junior Manager (Exports) for its Marketing Department at the Head Office in Clifton, Karachi. The manager will spearhead international export business development, client mapping, and sales growth for break-bulk and containerized cement shipments.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive international business development and export sales growth for cement and clinker in target foreign markets.
- Identify, prospect, and cultivate relationships with overseas importers, trading houses, EPC contractors, and distributors.
- Conduct in-depth international market research on export parity pricing, maritime freight rates, and competitor movements.
- Prepare commercial export quotations, contract negotiations, letters of credit (LC) terms, and shipping schedules.
- Collaborate with plant logistics, shipping lines, and port handling agents to ensure smooth export vessel loadings.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing, International Business, or Supply Chain Management.
- 8 to 10 years of proven experience in export sales and international business development of break-bulk or containerized commodities.
- Thorough knowledge of international trade rules (Incoterms 2020), export documentation, and trade finance (LCs, CAD).
- Maximum age limit of 45 years.
- Demonstrated track record of opening and scaling new overseas export destinations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specific export experience in the cement, clinker, mining, or heavy building materials industry.
- Established network of cement importers and trading partners in East Africa, Sri Lanka, or Indian Ocean regions.
