Industrial Machine Operator
About the Role
Rollins Industries is hiring a skilled Machine Operator for its FMCG manufacturing plant in Kotri Industrial Area, Sindh. The operator runs high-speed automated packaging and processing equipment while upholding quality and plant safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate automated production and packaging machinery according to daily production schedules.
- Conduct routine machine setups, size changeovers, and parameter adjustments to prevent bottlenecks.
- Perform basic autonomous maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment.
- Monitor finished products for packaging defects, seal integrity, and weight specifications.
- Record hourly production output, downtime logs, and material wastage in production logbooks.
- Comply rigorously with workplace safety guidelines, personal protective equipment (PPE), and 5S protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics.
- 2–4 years of hands-on machine operation experience in an FMCG or consumer goods manufacturing facility.
- Sound technical understanding of automated filling, sealing, wrapping, or labeling machinery.
- Ability to identify mechanical malfunctions and perform basic preventive repairs.
- Willingness to work in rotating industrial shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in soap, aerosol, or chemical packaging lines in Sindh.
- Training in industrial fire safety and workplace hazard prevention.
