Manager EV Production (Electric Mobility)
About the Role
Nippon Energy Pakistan is hiring a Manager EV Production in Karachi to spearhead the manufacturing and assembly operations of its new electric mobility division covering e-bikes, e-scooters, and EV vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise assembly line operations for electric scooters, e-bikes, and light commercial electric vehicles
- Establish production schedules, line balancing, takt time management, and workforce allocation to meet targets
- Oversee lithium-ion battery pack integration, electric motor assembly, wiring harnesses, and EV powertrain testing
- Enforce rigorous quality control standards, end-of-line electrical testing, and safety protocols
- Coordinate with engineering and supply chain teams to optimize local part manufacturing and reduce production cycle times
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- B.E. or B.Sc. in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering
- 6 to 8 years of industrial production management experience, preferably in automotive, motorcycle, or EV manufacturing
- Solid technical grasp of electric vehicle powertrains, BMS (Battery Management Systems), and electrical assembly
- Demonstrated ability to establish new manufacturing lines, lean manufacturing practices, and 5S workplace standards
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional team coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct technical experience setting up EV or 2-wheeler assembly lines in Pakistan
