Manager – Export (Automotive Parts)
About the Role
Procon Engineering (Pvt) Ltd, a flagship industrial arm of Master Group, is hiring an experienced Manager – Export at its manufacturing complex in Port Qasim, Karachi. The manager will lead international export operations, expand global automotive parts distribution, and handle overseas customer relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end export operations from purchase order confirmation to ocean/air shipment dispatch and payment realization.
- Identify prospective automotive OEM and aftermarket customers across targeted international export markets.
- Lead commercial negotiations covering export pricing, Incoterms, delivery schedules, and payment mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with Pakistani customs regulations, State Bank of Pakistan E-Form requirements, and destination country import rules.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and terminal operators to ensure prompt export cargo clearances.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field.
- 7 to 8 years of solid experience in automotive parts, engineering components, or industrial goods exports.
- Proficiency in export documentation, commercial letters of credit, bill of lading procedures, and customs clearance.
- Demonstrated capability in negotiating with international buyers and managing long-term trade partnerships.
- Excellent business writing, verbal communication, and market analytical capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience exporting automotive seating systems, metal press parts, or commercial vehicle components.
- Working knowledge of automotive quality standards (IATF 16949 / ISO 9001).
