Manager – Governance & Conduct (Compliance)
About the Role
Meezan Bank Limited is hiring a seasoned Manager – Governance & Conduct within its Service Quality Department (Compliance Division) at the Head Office in Karachi. The professional will champion customer conduct risk mitigation, banking control frameworks, and service quality governance across all operational touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee the Bank's Conduct and Governance framework across nationwide branch and digital banking operations.
- Monitor customer conduct indicators, service quality metrics, and enforce proactive remedial interventions.
- Identify operational control gaps, regulatory vulnerabilities, and execute corrective action plans.
- Design comprehensive governance MIS dashboards, management reports, and presentations for the Board and C-suite.
- Drive banking conduct awareness, internal compliance workshops, and continuous service enhancement programs.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (preferably Master's) from an HEC-recognized institute in Finance, Business Administration, or Commerce.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant banking experience in compliance, corporate governance, conduct risk, or operational risk management.
- Solid understanding of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) consumer protection regulations and banking conduct codes.
- Advanced reporting and presentation skills, with strong command of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Superior analytical, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification in Compliance, Risk Management, or Internal Audit.
- Formal academic or professional qualification in Islamic Finance / Shariah compliance.
