Manager Planning (Footwear Manufacturing)
About the Role
Starlet Innovations (Pvt) Ltd is hiring a Manager Planning at its footwear production facilities in Lahore. The manager oversees comprehensive production scheduling, raw material requirement planning (MRP), capacity forecasting, and manpower planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct end-to-end master production scheduling (MPS) and capacity planning across footwear cutting, stitching, and assembly lines.
- Develop material requirement plans (MRP) for leather, soles, synthetic components, and accessories, preventing stockouts.
- Align production plans with nationwide retail sales forecasts, promotional events, and seasonal Eid collection rollouts.
- Perform line balancing, cycle time optimization, and bottleneck elimination to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and merchandising teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
- Prepare executive planning dashboards, tracking On-Time In-Full (OTIF) completion and production variance KPIs.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering, or Business Administration.
- 5–8 years of dedicated production planning experience, specifically within footwear, apparel, or leather manufacturing.
- Deep understanding of footwear manufacturing lifecycles, bill of materials (BOM), and factory capacity dynamics.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP planning modules (SAP/Oracle) and complex Excel modeling.
- Outstanding analytical, cross-functional leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management) credential.
- Proven track record reducing production lead times in large-scale footwear factories.
