Manager – Projects (Industrial Engineering & PMO)
About the Role
SITECH is hiring an accomplished Manager – Projects at its Head Office in Islamabad. Leading the Project Management Office (PMO), the manager will oversee complex engineering manufacturing, industrial machinery development, PMO governance, and plant commissioning from concept to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic industrial manufacturing and precision engineering projects from initial business case through commissioning.
- Establish and govern PMO frameworks, standardizing project management templates, Stage-Gate reviews, and risk registers.
- Develop project charters, work breakdown structures (WBS), master critical-path schedules, and capital expenditure budgets.
- Monitor engineering contract terms, procurement milestones, vendor SLAs, and resolve cross-functional project bottlenecks.
- Deliver executive project dashboards, earned value analysis (EVA), and project milestone presentations to the Board.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Mechatronics, or Industrial) from an accredited university.
- Minimum 9 years of proven project management experience within heavy manufacturing, industrial engineering, defense, or machinery plants.
- Demonstrated track record of leading multi-million dollar engineering capital projects.
- Expertise in project management software (MS Project / Primavera P6) and PMO governance standards.
- Outstanding leadership, commercial contract administration, and executive communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 Practitioner.
- Master's in Engineering Management or MBA.
