About the Role
Elite Engineering Pvt Ltd is hiring a Manager - Proposals & Marketing (EPC Business) at its Karachi Regional Office. The role leads estimation, technical-commercial bidding, tender negotiations, and business development for major industrial and oil & gas EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete proposal development and bidding lifecycle for large-scale EPC tenders in industrial, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
- Direct technical and commercial estimations, cost budgeting, vendor quotation evaluations, and risk assessments.
- Lead commercial contract negotiations with multinational clients, industrial conglomerates, and engineering consultants.
- Formulate marketing strategies and collateral to position Elite Engineering as the partner of choice for EPC contracting.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to develop competitive execution methodologies.
- Track industrial tender pipelines across Pakistan and the Middle East, converting inquiries into profitable contracts.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) combined with an MBA from a reputable institute.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an EPC contracting environment, with at least 3–5 years leading proposal estimation and bidding teams.
- Proven track record winning multi-million dollar EPC contracts for major multinationals or industrial clients.
- Deep understanding of FIDIC contracts, EPC turnkey terms, risk matrices, and commercial law.
- Exceptional leadership, client presentation, and commercial negotiation capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- PEC registration as Professional Engineer.
- Direct bidding experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Fertilizer plant construction.
