Manager Purchase (Dyes & Chemicals)
About the Role
Sadaqat Limited is seeking an experienced Manager Purchase (Dyes & Chemicals) in Faisalabad to manage group-wide chemical procurement, import logistics, supplier contracts, and international textile buyer compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct group-wide procurement of reactive, disperse, vat dyes, textile auxiliaries, and finishing chemicals
- Negotiate annual rate contracts, volume discounts, and payment credit terms with multinational and domestic suppliers
- Ensure all purchased dyes and chemicals strictly comply with international standards: ZDHC MRSL, OEKO-TEX, and GOTS
- Coordinate with wet processing, R&D labs, and factory managers on chemical trials, quality testing, and substitution
- Oversee import procurement, Letters of Credit (LCs), customs clearance documentation, and shipping logistics
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- B.Sc. in Textile Engineering / Textile Chemistry (Wet Processing) or M.Sc. in Chemistry
- 8 to 10 years of procurement experience in the textile composite sector, with at least 4 to 5 years in a managerial role
- Extensive technical understanding of textile dyeing, printing, and finishing chemicals
- Proven track record managing import procurement, custom tariffs, and global chemical vendor relations
- Proficiency in enterprise ERP software (SAP MM or Oracle) and advanced MS Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA in Supply Chain Management or CIPS / CSCP professional certification
