MBU Lead - Telecom Operations
About the Role
Engro Enfrashare is hiring an MBU Lead (Grade T2) in Lahore to manage operations across ~140 telecom towers, ensure maximum site uptime, optimize fuel consumption, and enforce SLA compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage operational oversight of the Micro Business Unit (MBU) comprising approximately 140 telecom towers and 200 active tenancies
- Spearhead preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to achieve industry-leading site availability and 24/7 uptime
- Enforce stringent control over site-level OPEX, implementing strategic fuel management plans to eliminate energy wastage
- Supervise power systems including solar deployments, battery health, rectifiers, and diesel generator performance
- Act as the primary point of contact (POC) for Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and manage first-line maintenance (FLM) vendors
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunication Engineering
- 4 to 7 years of proven operational experience in telecom infrastructure, towerco operations, or power systems management
- Demonstrated expertise in managing telecom SLA metrics, generator maintenance, and battery storage solutions
- Solid understanding of energy optimization, digital site auditing portals, and vendor contract management
- Strong leadership, crisis response capability, and data-driven analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with green energy solutions, solar hybrid installations, and smart power metering
