About the Role
Lawrencepur Pakistan is recruiting fresh graduates as Management Trainee Officers (MTO - Audit & Compliance) in Islamabad to participate in retail audits, stock verification, and operational compliance checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist internal audit teams in conducting periodic physical stock verification across retail brand outlets
- Perform cash counts, review retail POS cash drawers, and reconcile daily sales against bank deposits
- Verify B2B customer balance confirmations and reconcile vendor sub-ledgers against ERP general ledger entries
- Document audit observations, review store compliance with retail SOPs, and prepare audit working papers
- Travel for field-based store audit assignments across regional retail showrooms
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Fresh graduate with Bachelor's degree (B.Com, BBA, BS Accounting & Finance) or ACCA/CA Foundation
- Clear conceptual understanding of fundamental accounting principles, internal controls, and auditing practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data sorting, pivot tables, lookup functions)
- Strong analytical ability, numerical integrity, and professional curiosity
- Comfortable with field travel for retail store audit inspections
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic coursework in auditing, financial accounting, and internal control frameworks
