About the Role
Canteen Stores Department (CSD) Head Office in Rawalpindi is hiring an experienced Network Administrator to manage enterprise IT networks, Windows server infrastructure, and retail POS connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless network infrastructure across retail stations.
- Manage Cisco and HP/Aruba managed switches, VLAN configurations, routing protocols, and firewall rules.
- Administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
- Oversee enterprise Dell PowerEdge and HP ProLiant server hardware, RAID configurations, and regular backup routines.
- Coordinate vendor maintenance contracts, hardware warranty claims, and ensure IT inventory availability.
Qualifications & Skills
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or closely related engineering discipline from an HEC-recognized university.
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network and system administration.
- Professional networking certification (CCNA / CCNP / MCSE) strongly preferred.
- Maximum age limit: 40 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with retail chain networking, POS systems, and biometric terminal integration.
